If you are using WeChat for Windows or Mac, you cannot send files exceed the maximum file size limit of 25M.
So how to fix WeChat unable to upload file issue and send file over 25MB? You are recommended to use Weiyun, a cloud service developed by Tencent. Please check on the steps to learn how to do with the job.
Step 1: Go to Weiyun and choose to log in the service with your WeChat account by scanning the QR code.
Step 2: On the interface, click on the "+" (add) button in blue and choose the first option to upload file from your computer.
Step 3: Choose video, photo, PDF or other files on your PC and click on the blue button on the pop-up window to start uploading.
Step 4: Wait a moment for the process. When it completes, you should select the item you want to send and click on the share button on the top pane.
Step 5: On the pop up window, you should click on the blue button to copy the link.
Step 6: Head to the chat you want to share file to on the WeChat, paste the link and click on the send button.
Note: When you send large files on WeChat on your iPhone or Android, you may be notified that the transfer cannot be performed. And there is also a time limit when you attach files in WeChat. For example, if you upload a 5-Minute video on WeChat, you may be prompted with a message such as "Video length too long" and unable to upload file.

Step 1: Download Weiyun app on iPhone or Android.
Step 2: Tap on "+" button at the bottom menu.
Step 3: Choose the document icon and you are able to choose file to upload on your phone.
Step 4: Select the file and tap on the blue button to upload it to cloud.
Step 5: Once it is done, just go to the file and tap on "…" and choose to send to the WeChat conversation.
If your phone is running out of storage space, you may not be able to load images, import videos, send or upload files on WeChat. In these cases, you are recommended to manage the current WeChat Chat History.
Step 1: Go to "Me > Settings > General > Manage Storage".
Step 2: You are able to see the used and available storage on the interface.
Step 3: Click on "Manage Storage > Manage Current WeChat Chat History".
Step 4. Find out and choose the chat history that is considered to be useless and fine to be deleted.
