What to Do:
Turn off ring/silent switch on the left side of the iPhone when running the apps.

What to Do:
It could be that your iPhone 6s is connected to a Bluetooth accessory at your home, for example, a Bluetooth speaker. First turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone and see if your phone speaker is working now. If it is, disconnect the Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone. To disconnect Bluetooth accessory on iPhone:
- Go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth".
- After Bluetooth is enabled, you can see all the devices that are connected to iPhone.

It is possible that your iPhone doesn't make sound without headphones because of software glitches.
