How to Sync iPhone to iTunes
One of the biggest complaints about iPhone is that syncing data between iPhone and iTunes is difficult. Here are two situations that can divide users into two groups – sync iPhone with only one iTunes library; sync iPhone with multiple iTunes libraries. It's quite easy for users to sync iPhone if they belong to first group. However, if they try to sync iPhone with another iTunes or multiple iTunes libraries, this syncing will cause iTunes erasing the current data on your iPhone. Why so? iTunes allows you to sync with one and only one computer at a time, and when you connect iPhone to another iTunes, the warning of "erase and sync" will appear.
Two methods on how to sync iPhone to iTunes are recommended on this article based on the above syncing situations. Please make sure that you've installed the newest iTunes on your computer.
Method 1: Sync iPhone to One iTunes Library
1. Connect iPhone to PC with USB cable. If iTunes doesn't open automatically, launch it.
2. Click the device button in the upper right corner of iTunes.
3. Choose the content you want to sync to iPhone and click the small box next to "Sync".
Method 2: Sync iPhone to Multiple iTunes Libraries without Erasing Contents
1. Install FonePaw iOS Transfer
Download the trial version of FonePaw iOS Transfer and install it on your PC. Then plug iPhone into computer and launch this app.

When the scan of Music, Movies, Music Videos, Ringtones, Voice Memos, etc. finishes, click "Start" to sync. FonePaw iOS Transfer will start an auto check on your iPhone and iTunes library, and sync what's missing to iTunes from iPhone after scan.
Note: If you have moved your iTunes library from the C drive to other hard drive, you are not allowed to sync iPhone to iTunes at a time, yet you can go to the left side menu to transfer those data to computer first, then drag and drop them to iTunes.
