Put iPhone 6s/6s Plus/6/5/5s/4 in DFU mode:
Connect your iPhone to the PC via the USB cable and make sure iTunes is running.
Turn off your iPhone by holding down the "Power" button and then swipe the slide to power off confirmation slider to the right.
Hold the "HOME" button and the "POWER" button at the same time for 10 seconds, and then release the power button but keep holding "HOME" button.( If you see the "Plug into iTunes" screen then you held it too long and will need to start again.)
If the screen stays black, that's it! Your iPhone should now be in DFU mode.
Reminder: If you see any "Plug into iTunes" or Apple logo on your device, you have pressed the buttons for too logo and may have entered Recovery Mode, but you're not in DFU mode.
Put DFU mode in iPhone 7/7 Plus:
Since the physical Home button is killed on iPhone 7. To enter DFU mode on 7/7 Plus:
When iTunes is on, plug in your iPhone 7/7 Plus to computer.
Power off the iPhone 7.
Press and hold "Power" + "Volume Down" button for 10 seconds.
Then release the "Power" button and keep pressing the "Volume Down" button for 5 seconds.
Release the button when the screen is totally black. Now you have put your iPhone 7 in DFU mode.
Put iPhone 8/8 Plus/X/XS/11/11 Pro in DFU mode:
Connect your iPhone to computer and Turn off the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro.
Quickly Press the Side button for 3s when the iPhone is in black screen.
Simitaneously press Side button and Volume Down for about 10 seconds.
Release the Side button and keep holding the Volume Down button. If your iDevice is detected, please release it.

Connect iPhone 8/8 Plus/X/XS/11/11 Pro to computer. Launch iTunes.
Quick press Volume Up and release. Press Volume Down and release immediately.
Hold down the Side button until the iPhone screen turns black.

Release Side button and keep holding Volume Down button until iTunes shows that iPhone needs to be restored.
