What is PDF &  ePub?

PDF (Portable Document Format) is one of the oldest eBook formats and the most used. PDF files can be digitally signed and securely locked against editing and this has also promoted there use along with the fact that they are viewable and printable on virtually any platform. The main shortage of PDF as eBooks is that PDFs have a static layout with set page breaks, so you can't adjust font size, and they don't automatically adjust to fit your screen.

ePub (Electronic Publication) is the XML format for reflowable books developed for digital publishing. Different from PDF, EPUB eBooks will automatically adjust to fit your screen. For reading eBooks on iOS devices, ePub could be a better choice.
