iPhone comes with a built-in Note app which you may frequently use to take down important information. With so many notes on your iPhone/iPad, you may wonder how you can transfer notes from iPhone/iPad to computer,
iCloud can sync notes between your iPhone, Mac, and iPad, which, however, still doesn't allow you to transfer notes between any device at your will. Here are several simple methods for you to transfer notes from iPhone/iPad to PC or Mac without iCloud and iTunes.
1. Save iPhone Notes to Computer without iTunes
Extracting the notes out of iPhone/iPad is not easy as Apple doesn't offer an option to export notes in its app. You can't sync iPhone notes to PC via iTunes, either.
You do have the option to share your notes to other devices via emails from the Notes app, however, it will be a lot of work to email all the notes one by one.
It is, therefore, necessary to use a third-party software program to help you transfer notes from iPhone/iPad to Windows PC. One good option is to use FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery, which can import notes from iPhone/iPad to computer as an HTML file, which can be viewed with any browser and be printed if needed.
Step 1: Connect the iPhone to your PC which is pre-installed with FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery. Or you can click the below button to download the program right now.
Step 2: Launch the program on your PC. Click Start Scan after your iPhone is detected.
Step 3: After the scanning is finished, you can browse all notes of your iPhone by click Notes on the left side.
Step 4: You can tick off the notes which you need and click Recover on the bottom of the interface to save the notes on your Windows computer.
You can transfer both the deleted and undeleted notes with FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery.
These notes can be edited before being exported.
If you have included your notes in iTunes or iCloud backup, you can also extract iPhone/iPad notes from backups with the FonePaw program.
2. Transfer Notes to PC via iCloud
If you have permitted Notes to be stored in iCloud, you can view and copy the notes from iCloud on Windows PC.
Step 1: On your iPhone, Go to Settings > Your Apple ID > iCloud.
Step 2: Toggle Notes to On.
Step 3: Wait until all notes on your iPhone/iPad are synced to iCloud. There is only 5GB free space in iCloud but you can pay for more storage space.
Step 4: After synchronization, you can log into your iCloud account with a web browser of your computer. Click Notes to unfold all your notes and copy them to your computer if needed.
3. Email iPhone Notes to PC
If you only want to transfer a couple of notes to PC, you can use the built-in share button to email the notes to your PC. However, you can email one note at a time.
Step 1: Open Notes on your iPhone/iPad.
Step 2: Select and find the note you want to export and tap the share button on the right top corner.
Step 3: Choose Mail and the note can be sent as the email content.
Step 4: Check the email on your PC and copy the note to a Word document or TXT file to save it on the computer.

If you have a Mac computer, transferring notes from iPhone to Mac is easier with iCloud. The only thing you need to do is to log in your Apple account on both your iPhone and Mac and turn on Notes for iCloud on the device. Then you can check notes you have taken down on your iPhone from the Notes application on your Mac.
Step 1: On your Mac computer, open System Preferences > Apple ID.
Step 2: Log in the Apple ID you have used on your iPhone; If another Apple ID is logged in, you can choose to sign out and change the appropriate Apple ID to log in.
