1. Control Screen Color Representations

The Super AMOLED display of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ provides users with exceptional viewing experience. If you are not satisfied with the default screen color, you can adjust the color representations freely as S9 gives you a lot of freedom to control it. Head to Settings > Display > Screen mode and you’ll see four different screen modes including adaptive display, AMOLED cinema, AMOLED photo and Basic. And you can also activate the advanced options and adjust the RGB spectrum (red, green, and blue) as you want.

2. Improve Touch Sensitivity (If you get a screen protector)

Though Gorilla Glass 5, which serves against scratches, bumps, spills and more, has been applied for the front and back of S9, you may want to buy a case and a screen protector for second protection. However, if you do apply a screen protector on your handset, you may have trouble with the touchscreen. In this case, you can fix it by going to Settings > Advanced features > Touch Sensitivity to increase the touch sensitivity of your device

3. Multitask Settings

Samsung S9 has made multitask more impressive. You can now press and hold the Recents button on the navigation bar to access split-screen mode. Additionally, you can also use floating windows. To turn these on, you need to head to Settings > Advanced features > Multi window. You will see two options there: USE Recents button and Pop-up view action. If you want to easily trigger split-screen mode by pressing and holding the Recents button in a split-screen-supported app, you need to tap on "USE Recents button" option. And if you want to use a floating window by sliding in the upper left corner, you should select "Pop-up view action" to turn it on.

4. Activate Video Enhancer

If you want to improve the image quality of your videos to experience and enjoy brighter and more vivid colors, you can simply go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Video Enhancer and activate the option. But you should notice that this feature may not be available in some apps. Anyway, you'll see which of your apps are compatible in this setting page.

5. Improve Audio Quality

The Samsung Galaxy S9 allows users to optimize the sound for whatever you are listening to with its Dolby Atmos option. But this option is disabled by default. To turn it on, you can pull down the quick notification settings on S9 screen and choose Dolby Atmos. Then just enable it. You can adjust and optimize your listening experience by switching between four modes: Auto, Movie, Music and Voice.

6. Reply Messages in A Notification Popup Window

With this feature, you can quickly view the content of a text message without switching the screen. For example, if you receive a text message while watching a video or playing a game, you can view and reply to the text message by simply swipe down to expand the window. And when you receive the message, you’ll see the edge of the handset will light up.

Notice: You should make sure this feature is enabled. Just head to Settings > Display > Edge screen > Edge lighting > Manage Notification and turn on Messages in the list.

7. Hide Unwanted Apps

In most of cases, if you don't use an app, you can simply uninstall it. However, you can't do this for the Samsung apps pre-installed on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus (without rooting). Fortunately, you can at least hide the app you don't want it to be display on your screen. To do this, you need to swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to open the App Drawer. Tap on the more button on the top-right corner of the screen and select Home screen settings. And in this page, you need to tap on Hide apps option. Then just choose the apps you want to hide and tap Apply on the top-right corner.

Samsung sells two variants of its Galaxy S9: a model with a Snapdragon 845 processor for Americans and a global version with Samsung's own Exynos 9810. 9. Dual Bluetooth(pair two Bluetooth headsets at a time)

Another feature of Galaxy S9 you should never miss is its Bluetooth 5.0, which allows users to pair two Bluetooth headsets at a time. You can connect and pair two sets of headphones in the Bluetooth settings and activate "Dual Audio".

10. Create Secure Folders

For the sensitive or private information, you can create a Secure Folder for it. To access the Secure Folder, user needs to enter the PIN number, pattern or password you've set. In this way, you can protect the important data from being viewed by others. To create a Secure Folder, you should navigate to Settings > Lock screen and security > Secure Folder.
