AirDrop is an ad-hoc service in Apple Inc.'s OS X and iOS operating systems, which enables the transfer of files among supported Macintosh computers and iOS devices without using mail or a mass storage device. It is now supported only on iOS devices running iOS 7 and later, and Mac running OS X 10.7 and later.

Step 1: Turn on AirDrop

On iPhone, please swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open Control Center, and then tap AirDrop. There are three options: "Off" means to turn off Airdrop; "Contacts Only" means that only your contacts can see your device; "Everyone" means that all nearby iOS devices using AirDrop can see your device. You may choose the latter two to turn on AirDrop.
