Screen recording is a long-expected feature for iPhone users. Finally, iOS 11 now allows you to record iPhone/iPad screen. If you have a new iPhone 8/8 Plus/X or have updated your iPhone 7/6 to iOS 11, you can access the screen recording feature from Control Center and save the recorded videos in Camera Roll.
But when a recorded video is mistakenly deleted from your iPhone 8/8 Plus, how to recover the deleted screencast? When you can't find a video of screen recording in Camera Roll, the first thing you should do is checking the Recently Deleted folder in Photos. If the video is not in the folder either, you can use FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery to recover the missing video.

Step 1. Launch the data recovery program and choose Recover from iCloud Backup File this time.
Step 2. Input the Apple ID and password of your iPhone 8/8 Plus. The program will display all backups of the account. Choose the latest iCloud backup and click Download.
Step 3. To reduce the time for downloading a backup, you can choose only Camera Roll, Photo Library to download.
Step 4. Once the backup is downloaded, check if there is the deleted video of screen recording. If there is, click Recover to restore it to the computer.
With the program, you don't have to restore the whole iCloud backup to get one or two deleted videos back to your iPhone 8/8 Plus.
If you can't find the missing screencasts from iCloud backup, iPhone Data Recovery also allows you to view the iTunes backup and select the videos to save on computer.
Step 1. Install the program on the computer on which you have made backups of iPhone 8/8 Plus via iTunes.
