How to Record Screen on Windows and Mac

1. Adjust Recording Settings
Before recording your computer screen, you may want to click Settings > Options to adjust the recording settings to fit your need. You can choose whether to include mouse cursor on your video and enable shortcuts to start, pause, stop the recording, hide recording toolbar so that the screen recorder won't gets in your way when you are recording the screen.
There are more advanced settings: animate mouse clicks/buttons, choose video settings (format, bitrate, frame rate, video storing location).
2. Start to Record Screen on Windows
To record a certain part of the screen, click arrow-down icon beside Start button and choose Region to select an area. And to record the full screen, just choose Full Screen.
You can also choose to record the area around mouse cursor in different resolutions, record only the audio or add webcam. After you have made a choice, click Start to begin recording your screen activity. If you have set it up, the Screen Recorder will automatically minimize to tray and show countdown before recording.
