3 Things to Check Before Adopting Any Solution

Before trying any solution, you want to make sure that:

  • Your Android phone/tablet has a strong network connection. The error code 927 could appear when the internet connection is weak in your device. If you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, reboot your modem to make sure the network is fine.

  • You have tried downloading apps over mobile data. Some users get the error code 927 only when downloading apps from Google Play Store over Wi-Fi network. So you can switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data to see if the update or installation goes well on cellular data.

  • Google Play Store app on your device is not upgrading. If the app is upgrading, you may want to stop downloading or updating others apps until Google Play Store upgrade is complete.

Solution 1. Clear Caches & Data

  1. Go to Settings > Apps/Application Manager.

  2. Choose Google Play Store and tap Clear Caches and Clear Data.

  3. Choose Google Play Service and select Clear Caches and Clear Data.

  4. Also choose Google Play Services Framework and remove its caches and data.

Solution 2. Delete Previous Updates

  1. Go to Settings > Apps/Application Manager.

  2. Choose Google Play Store.

  3. Tap the three dot icon and choose Uninstall Updates.

  4. Tap Yes to verify your choice.

Solution 3. Remove and Re-add Google Account

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Google.
