Backup the Selected Android Data
If you want to backup the specific kinds of Android data, for example, to backup only photos, contacts, you can choose to backup only the data that you need.
Step 1. Run Android Data Backup and Restore on your computer. Then go into certain feature on the left sidebar and choose Device Data Backup.
Step 2. Plug your Android phone into computer with USB cable. If USB debugging is disabled on your phone, the program will tell you how to turn on USB debugging so that your device can be detected.
Step 3. The program will display all types of data that you can back up with. Tick the data that you want to backup and click Start.
Extra Step: If you want to encrypt the backup, toggle on Encrypted Backup before clicking Start. You'll be asked to create a password. The password is needed to restore the backup.
Step 4. A backup of your Android phone will be created. Click OK to see all backups that you have made.
Note: your Android backups are saved on C disk of your computer by default. You can choose Settings > Preference to change the backup location.
Make a Full Backup in One Click
If you need to make a full backup of your Android phone, you can use One-click backup feature on Android Data Backup and Restore.
Step 1. Connect Android phone to computer via USB connection.
Step 2. Choose One-click Backup on Android Data Backup and Restore.
Step 3. The program will immediately backup all your Android data, including photos, contacts, messages, videos, audios and more. It could take a while if there are large amounts of data on your Android phone.
